Dan Barnicott

Operations Director

Dan has worked around the world within live events and theatre in technical production in venues such as The Young Vic Theatre, O2 Arena, and The National Portrait Gallery. Dan loves taking a vision, coming up with first-class solutions and delivering them onsite. He takes pride in coming up with innovative designs that are custom made for each new and exciting idea. With a strong passion for ever-developing technology, Dan is always keen to create distinctive designs.

Liam Sayer

Technical Director

Specialising in Production Lighting and Technical Management, Liam has predominantly worked in the touring theatre sector and as a Freelancer. Since creating Zone One™ with Dan, Liam has been keen to expand the business and loves working in the industry. Liam has worked in venues such as The National Theatre, and Royal Opera House and across the UK in regional venues. Liam enjoys creating custom solutions to technical problems and has a keen eye for detail.

Matt Dean

Head of Business Development

With a strong background in stage lighting, Matt has now turned his attention to Business Development. He is enjoying working with and advising Dan and Liam to develop the Zone One™ business whilst maintaining his presence in the Theatre and Events industries. Matt has a wealth of experience in supporting new users of entertainment technology such as schools and places of worship and is always looking out for new groups to engage with.
